Sensitivity Is A Flower

For the ones who have been feeling super sensitive: you're not alone.
Sensitivity is a GIFT from God that often gets wasted by way of ego (self hate, feeling like you're not good enough, feeling like things won't get better because you are sensitive, or even disliking the very sensitivity that was bestowed upon you when you were created).
In this often desensitized, robotic, physical world, heartfelt & soulful acts are often overlooked as powerless. Some of your friends might tell you that you need to "work on being less emotional". If they do, it's their way of saying that they too are sensitive & that they wish that they felt more comfortable simply expressing that sensitivity in our world.
One of the healthiest ways to comfort yourself when you're feeling too much of everything & anything that is going on around you/in our world is to talk to God about your feelings & find alone time. During that alone time, remember to squeeze in positive words toward yourself(I'm beautiful,I'm strong, I'm smart, I'm loved). These are truths. These words, "I am", will strengthen you as you define yourself under the light of God.
We are often told that we are not supposed to be sensitive. This is one of greatest lies ever told in the human experience. Sensitivity doesn't mean finding an attack. What it means is living in the love that peeks through in any given situation. Feeling it & allowing it stretch its arms out, to spread its petals like that of a daisy.
That is the beautiful flower that is sensitivity. Artificial energy may get you down but in the end, you remain. The real things last in life like love & souls.
Love you & stay strong. I believe in you. You can do it, you're winning & you are a powerful beam of light.
