I remember back in the 80's & 90's when it was not a "thing" to talk openly & reasonably about racism. You can say that it's still not something that people talk about but that simply isn't true. It's finally all over the place now.
Everyone is talking about it & now that it has become a common open topic, we're also talking about the concept of sensitivity & what's "too sensitive" & what's not actually sensitivity, but a low-grade egotistical way of fueling negativity.
People tell me now: "People don't talk about psychic stuff. It's not one of those topics that will ever really become an open subject for all." My answer is always "Yes it will."
When I was a kid, my answer was the same about racism & sexism & now, here we are as a human family accepting, talking, feeling & acknowledging.
Sensitivity is not actually the problem. The problem lays within the closing of the mind.
Nothing can get through a closed mind because the closed mind is not soft & sensitive at all.
