If you are experiencing heavy burdens & doing something as simple as looking at your Facebook feed causes you anxiety, it's time to detach.
Try not to add to your burdens by making yourself feel guilty for hiding someone's news feed or only wanting to hear good news. It's your inner self protecting you from harsh energy.
The day, the week or month doesn't have to feel heavy.
Take a deep breath & ask for help with the things that you normally dive into alone.
Also, the news & "top stories" can cause a heavy amount of worry & stress on levels that you may not readily notice. Pay attention to your body & the muscles in your face when you start reading & hearing some of the negative stuff floating around. Notice a change that feels less than loose & free.
Create a fun playlist, engage in arts & crafts,sing out loud, click around the web for new & happy websites/channels to watch, take some time for yourself & go for a walk focusing only on something fun coming up in your life(or come up with something great to start in on).
Whatever you do, make sure it's calming & promising for your mind, heart & body. You are allowed to shift your focus away from the news & other people's anxieties & fears
. I can see for you that things are looking up. This is a thin cloud of fog that will soon lift to unveil a brand new day. It's up to you exhale, reach out for help & shift your focus.
