Someone asked me why I use the term "The Source" or "Creator" when I sometimes refer to God.

Sometimes I just use it because it flows out of me. Just from my mind to my fingers & out on the paper or the keyboard.

Other times, when I do it delibrately with full desire to use the word for what it is, it's because unfortunately in our world, quite often when I say "God"

1) some people automatically think that I'm referring to an almighty dominating negative male who disapproves of everything that we do who is in a bad mood & constantly displeased

2) they think that I'm judging them & disapproving of them in some narrow minded forceful controlling way

3) they shut down & shut me out assuming that I'm narrow mindedly religious & trying to squeeze whatever religion they think that I am, into their beliefs or

4) they forget that I have referred to God for what God is, that is a male, a female & in all between, everything great, all things good. You. Me.The Universe.

This never ceases to interest me, this discussion. And do not believe that the concept of God is supposed to be so complicated that one cannot access it when in need.

Mistaken identity in this case is really not as helpful as it may seem.
